Garland has a lot to offer.
Bordered by the city of Dallas and beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard, we’re home to business commuters and nature enthusiasts alike. Garland has been an exciting area in recent years and will benefit greatly from the Crystal Lagoon Water Park being constructed in Rowlett. If you’re looking for a new part of town to call home, it’s time to give Garland another look!
Garland has a good reputation for great food and it’s well deserved. If you haven’t been to Meshack’s BBQ, (240 E Avenue B), you haven’t really been to Garland, you’re just passing through. There are a lot of great restaurants and hidden gems in Garland and while Dallas has some great restaurants, it can be a little trendy. If you’re looking for family owned joints with great street cred, Garland is a great place to start.
If Garland sounds like a place you could call home, we would love to help you become our neighbors. Garland is a beautiful community and is a great combination of city life with some of the best parts of country living.

Lake Ray Hubbard is a 22,000 acre lake that plays host to recreation and outdoor sports as well as a backdrop for some of the best dining and nightlife in the area. Much more than a fishing hole, Lake Ray Hubbard is a community hub when the weather is nice and makes Garland a top destination for people who need to stay close to the city but miss the serenity and peace that comes with living with nature.

In 2005 the Firewheel Towncenter opened and I don’t think I’m overstating the impact to say that it changed the landscape of the city of Garland and the North East Dallas area in general. Popular anchor stores include Dillard’s, Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, DSW Shoes and a lot more. Beyond just being a shopping area, Firewheel Towncenter is a great gathering spot and really does feel like a town center which is why Garland homes have developed around Firewheel and some of the larger more recent homes are being developed around this attraction. If shopping isn’t your thing, Firewheel takes it’s name from the public golf park located close by. Home to 63 holes of golf, the Firewheel Golf Park is a PGA Tour Qualifying site and regular host to the North Texas PGA Junior Championships and other tournaments.
